The Forest Research Institute is a Natural Resource Service training institute of the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and is an institution in the field of forestry research in India for Indian Forest Service cadres and all State Forest Service cadres.

Note:-

1. The number of vacancies is subject to variation.

2. Essential qualification is mandatory for all posts.

Qualification:-

12th Pass with Science from Government recognized Board.

Physical Standard

Men :

(i) Walk: 25 Kms. in 4 hours.

(ii) Height :Minimum 165 cms

(iii) Chest: 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion.

Women:

(i) Walk: 14 Kms. in 4 hours.

(ii) Height: Minimum 150 cms.

(iii)Chest:74 cm without expansion and with expansion 79 cm

Note: The appointees will be required to successfully complete Forestry training course from a recognised from a Guard institution during the probation period.
