The Forest Research Institute is a Natural Resource Service training institute of the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and is an institution in the field of forestry research in India for Indian Forest Service cadres and all State Forest Service cadres.

2. Essential qualification is mandatory for all posts.

Qualification:-

(i) 12th class certificate from recognized Board.

(ii) Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer a Or Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual Type Writer.
