The Government of India has set up Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on 1st March 2002 under the provision of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001. The mission of Bureau of Energy Efficiency is to assist in developing policies and strategies with a thrust on self-regulation and market principles with the primary objective of reducing energy intensity of the Indian economy within the overall framework of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001.

Education Qualification:-

(i) Should have passed 10 + 2 or Senior Secondary School Examination;

(1) having speed in shorthand of eighty words per minute; (ii) having speed in typing of forty words per minute:

(iv) proficient in Computer and Microsoft Office; and (v) must be capable of taking dictation directly on computer as well as in shorthand

Note:- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Central Government in the
case of candidate otherwise well qualified.

Experience required:

(1) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre. (2) Having ten years regular service in the post in Level-4 (Rs.25500- 81100) of 7th CPCPay Matrix (pre-revised PB-1 (Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400).
