The Cantonment Board St.Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram established in the year 1774, is the second oldest Cantonment in the country. It is located 18kms away from the Central Railway Station. The total area of Cantonment is 2892.82 acres. It is basically divided into three locations namely St.Thomas Mount, Meenambakkam and Pallavaram.

2. Must be an Ex-ServiceMen or must have experience as Watchman for a period of not less than two years in any organization recognized by the Govt.
