The genesis of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) dates back to 1884 when it started its journey as a small workshop to repair vessels of River Steam Navigation Company.GRSE’s primary role has been building warships and other vessel for the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. The shipyard, with its modern shipbuilding infrastructure, state-of-the-art Virtual Reality Lab and a 100+ strong design team drawing on 61 years of shipbuilding expertise can certainly lay claim to being a ‘Master Builder’ for amphibious ships in India. GRSE has emerged as a leading shipyard of India, building a wide array of vessels ranging from 05 ton boats to 24600 ton Fleet Tanker including world class Frigates and Fast Attack Crafts.

Note:-

On Fixed Term Contractual Basis for 03 years extendable maximum of 02 years. The officer will be initially posted at GRSE’s Delhi office.

Qualifications:-

Four years full time degree in Engineering (in any discipline) or equivalent with First class or 60% overall marks in any discipline.

i. 15 years’ post qualification experience out of which at least 05 years either singularly or collectively in following:
(a) Liaison / coordination with various departments of Ministry of Defence / Ministry of External Affairs
(b) Liaison / coordination with Service Head Quarters of IndianArmed Forces/ Paramilitary forces.
ii. Knowledge of Finance, project Management and experience of working in SAP ERP will be an added advantage.
iii. Naval Officers of the rank of Commander & above or equivalent in Army / Air Force / Coast Guard meeting the above experience criteria may also be considered.
iv. Candidates from Govt. / PSU / Autonomous organizations should have 2 years’ experience in immediate lower grade whereas Candidates from private sector should be drawing comparable CTC of SM Grade (E-4) for minimum 2 years.
