The Indian Institute of Astrophysics, with its headquarters in Bengaluru, is an autonomous research institute wholly financed by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. IIA conducts research primarily in the areas of astronomy, astrophysics and related fields.

Job description:-

Responsible for establish, maintenance & supervision of Landscape and architectural facility/ Gardening /Horticulture / Floriculture at IIA, Bangalore as well as at its field stations.

Qualification:-

Essential: Full time Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from a recognized University / Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
Desirable: Master Degree in Floriculture and Landscape architecture from a recognized University / Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate Or Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Landscape Gardening from a recognized University / Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Experience:
Essential: Three years experience after graduation in the field of Management of Landscape facility/ Garden maintenance/Horticulturist/Landscape Architect in a State or Central Government organization / Autonomous Institutions / Public Sector undertakings / Corporate Sector Repute.
