Job description: Maintenance & testing of Telescope control systems, Detectors like CCD
cameras. Troubleshooting failures at component level. Integration and testing of new cameras,
Telescope systems.
Qualification:-
Essential:-
Three years full time course in Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering or BE/B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering (full time course) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from Central/State Government/ AICTE recognized institute/university.
Desirable:-
Professional Training in Electronic Circuit Schematic and PCB Design software in Orcad/ Proteus/ Eagle/Altium. Professional Certificate Training in soldering of through hole and SMD components.
Experience:-
Essential:-
Minimum three years of working experience related to Electronic Circuit Schematic Design, multi-layer PCB Design, Fabrication / Testing of PCBs used in Measurement systems, analog and digital circuits, in any of the Central/State Government /Research / Private organizations after completion of Diploma course.
Desirable:-
Practical experience of operating lab equipment like Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO), Digital Power Supplies, Function generator etc. Maintenance of Servo control systems, cryogenic detectors like CCD/CMOS cameras. Knowledge of computer operation.
